• Keep the hair moisturized with a lightweight leave-in conditioner or curl-defining product.
• Avoid excessive brushing, which can disrupt the curl pattern and create unnecessary frizz.
• Protect the hair while sleeping with a satin bonnet or satin pillowcase.
• Avoid excessive manipulation or pulling of the wefts.
• Always use a heat protectant before applying heat.

Washing

• Wash with a gentle, moisturizing, sulfate-free shampoo as needed.
• Follow with a quality hydrating conditioner.
• Gently detangle while conditioned, starting from the ends and working upward.
• Allow the hair to air dry whenever possible.
• Once dry, gently separate and define the curls with your fingers.
• Avoid excessive heat while drying or styling.

Coloring, Bleaching & Heat Styling

Mayumi Burmese Curly Wefts can be colored, straightened, curled, and restyled with proper care.

However, coloring, bleaching, excessive heat, and chemical processing can affect the hair's moisture, strength, curl pattern, texture, and longevity.

The original Burmese-inspired curl pattern may loosen, change, or may not fully return after excessive heat or chemical processing.

For best results, professional coloring, bleaching, and chemical processing are recommended.

Always use a heat protectant before applying heat and avoid excessive temperatures or repeated heat exposure.
